Software Custom Online Albums Are a Click Away for Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) Elements 5.0 Users
'Photoshop Elements 5.0 Gives the Power to Enhance, SmugMug the Power to Flaunt,' Says SmugMug Founder
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- SmugMug today announced its collaborative work with Adobe to give Photoshop Elements 5.0 software users a simple way to share photos online.
"Photoshop Elements 5.0 software can make ordinary photos gorgeous," said Chris MacAskill, co-founder and President, SmugMug Inc. "Why put important photos in generic albums when you can flaunt them in style?"
The new Photoshop Elements 5.0 software offers new and more flexible ways for consumers to organize files, edit images with ease and share photos in engaging and innovative ways. Within Photoshop Elements 5.0 software consumers have the option to send photos directly to SmugMug, which offers stunning online albums. The only requirement is an Internet connection and a SmugMug account -- which is simple to open.
"As consumers become more comfortable with digital photography they are getting more creative with their photos and how they share them," said Deborah Whitman, vice president of product management for Digital Imaging at Adobe. "SmugMug's online albums give people a wide array of creative options for sharing their photos."
SmugMug comes with more than 50 stunning themes designed by independent graphic artists that include Bon Voyage (travel), Daddy's Girl, Halloween, Fine Art, Wedding and Old Family Album. SmugMug users can design their own themes or modify the built-in ones using many of the creative tools in Photoshop Elements 5.0.
