Ritz Camera Announces Selection of Carmen Electra as spokesperson
Carmen Electra enjoys the art of photography and now, Carmen Electra and Ritz Camera Centers will promote "imaging" together. Ritz Camera Centers is the largest and only national camera and image chain in the United States -- with 1,000 stores in the Ritz family of stores: Ritz Camera, Wolf Camera, Kits Cameras, Inkley's and The Camera Shop.
Ritz is introducing two new and unique products that are exciting, flashy and appealing to a more youthful consumer. The new services are:
Big Print You - Introducing a new standard for digital prints where customers can choose from four new print styles: 4"x6" plus two wallet prints; 5" square; 6" square; and 6" ideal digital format. This is an alternative to the current standard 4"x6" Big Print.
1 Hour Big, Big Enlargements - Now, big enlargements can be ready in only one hour, not in weeks, which has been the standard for enlargements. Customers can choose from 10 sizes, from 11"x14" to 24"x36".
As a vibrant celebrity and photographer, Carmen embodies all three aspects of Ritz's new services: youth, excitement and flash.
The partnering of David Ritz, Ritz Camera's CEO, with Ms. Electra, bold avid photo enthusiasts, will provide a unique and attention-getting image and message.
A major aspect of the partnership is a limited edition poster for the "Head for Hollywood" charity, which will be sold at the Ritz Camera Centers family of stores and online at http://www.ritzpix.com/. The charity, founded by Ken Baker, the editor of US Weekly magazine, provides magical experiences for children who have brain cancer.
Ms. Electra is thrilled with the arrangement. "It is so very generous of David to make this important fundraising possible," she said.
Ms. Electra's photos will be posted on the RitzPIX.com Web site in the coming weeks, so check back soon.
