Sigma has announced a new line of filters for digital cameras. The range consists of UV filters, that not only reduce ultraviolet light but also protect the camera lens during other photography, and CP filters, that eliminate reflections from surfaces like glass and water. The CP filters also deepen the intensity of the blue sky.
All of the new Sigma filters come with a special multi-layer lens coating developed to reduce flare and ghosting. They also are designed to accept the front cap of the lens.
