pcworld.gifDave Johnson's Digital Focus column this week at PC World is about restoring faded photos. He discusses touching them up in the scanner and touching them up on a PC.

He says the "best of the best" in color restoration software is Kodak's Digital ROC Photoshop plug-in filter. The program comes in a $50 standard version and a $100 pro version.
