Nikon and Fuji have issued advisories about Nikon D70, D2H, D100, and Fujifilm S2 and S3 Pro digital cameras may have problems focusing when using the Zoom-Nikkor AF-S DX VR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lens. If the lens is set to infinity and in the wide-angle position, the autofocus may not zoom on close-up subjects. The issue is a firmware problem in the cameras, according to Nikon and Fuji.
Manufacturers are working on remedies for each camera model.
