Nikon is addressing an issue found in some early-production D200 digital SLR cameras. In "specific and uncommon shooting conditions," a pattern of lines can appear on the image. Nikon has a Banding FAQ that can answer your questions about it and help you identify it in your images. If you do experience this problem, Nikon will adjust your camera to minimize this effect.
