Cindy Weldon from Minneapolis, Minnesota, writes in to the "Digital Made Easy" newspaper column that she has an Olympus C-765 Ultra Zoom digital camera that she takes (and I am not making this up) "to rodeos and on trail rides." She's not all that happy, though, with the pictures she gets at high school wrestling matches, and would like some help.
The columnist suggests using a 400 ISO setting with aperture priority, and explains that good pictures will be hard to get in this environment due to the size of the sensor, speed of the shutter, and the efficiency of the flash. He suggests a Nikon D50, the "next step up."
Honestly, I had no idea there ever were rodeos in Minneapolis...
