HP is announcing the Photosmart M425 at this year's CES. It's a 5 megapixel digital camera with 3x optical zoom and 1.7-inch display on the back. The camera sports 16 MB of internal memory and an SD card slot. The M425 also has a "fast shot" mode, allowing users to capture images quickly with a minimum of shutter lag. The camera also features HP's Design Gallery and automatic red-eye removal. Users can save a photo and direct it to up to 34 destinations, including e-mail addresses, online albums, printers, and Snapfish.
The Photosmart M425 will be available in April 2006 in North America.
