FilmLoop has announced that its photocasting technology is now available to Photobucket's 10 million users. By clicking on the "Loop It!" icon, the user can create a "Loop" of their Photobucket album, which can be shared with family, friends, and colleagues, or linked on Blogs and personal Web pages. Loops can be viewed at no charge.
Loops are continuous slideshows that go back to the beginning of the album when all pictures have been played.

FilmLoop Teams With Photobucket to Provide Photocasting Capabilities to the Web's Largest Image Hosting Community; Partnership With Fastest Growing Web Site to Further Boost FilmLoop's Tremendous Growth
FilmLoop, Inc., a provider of free software that enables people and businesses to share, broadcast and find photos, today announced that its photocasting technology is now available to all members of Photobucket, the Web's largest online image hosting site. Each of the more than 30 million albums hosted on the Photobucket site now have a "Loop It!" button; by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" icon, Photobucket's more than 10 million registered users can now instantly create a FilmLoop "Loop" of their Photobucket album. The Loop can be shared directly with family, friends, and colleagues, or linked on Blogs and personal Web pages.

In the first two months since FilmLoop went live in November 2005, the company has attracted more than 130,000 users. FilmLoop users have already uploaded more than four million images and 160,000 new images are added each day.

According to a Nielsen/NetRatings report in November 2005(1), Photobucket experienced the greatest growth -- almost 1,500 percent -- of any other Web site. In 2005. Photobucket experienced growth from 1 million unique users per month in November of 2004, to over 15 million unique visitors per month a year later.
Photobucket's rise to the largest online image hosting and publishing site is tied directly to the growth of personal media Web sites, whereby users create, share and publish their own content. By providing its users with the Web code to insert images anywhere on the Internet, Photobucket enables these content producers to express themselves using visual images by way of individual Blogs, social networking, gaming, e-commerce, and enthusiast sites.

How FilmLoop for Photobucket Works
FilmLoop's free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network enables Photobucket members to instantly share their Photobucket album in a Loop. Loops can be linked on Blogs and Web pages, and anyone can view Loops for free.
A Loop is a dynamic string of images that scroll continuously across a user's screen. As the last image scrolls by, the first comes back into view, creating an endless Loop of photos. Clicking on a photo can go to a more detailed Zoom view, and/or click through to Web sites, Blogs, video, audio, flash or any other rich media. A Loop creator can also allow anyone to add their own photos into a shared Loop; whenever a Loop is updated, all subscribers to the Loop see the changes instantly on their desktop.
Once a Photobucket member creates a new Loop, they have a variety of choices for sharing their Loop with their world. They can list the Loop in the FilmLoop Public Directory, allowing anyone visiting the FilmLoop Network to see their Loop. Photobucket users can also share their Loop with any number of people as an URL via e-mail and with a wider community by linking Loops to their personal media sites like MySpace, Xanga, LiveJournal, eBay, GameSpot, Craig's List, GaiaOnline and Neopets.
