Cameras.co.uk has a Digital Camera Shutter Lag Comparison Table that is well worth a look if you are planning to buy a digital camera. As the page explains, shutter lag is the amount of time it takes the camera to record an image after you press the shutter button. Obviously, the shorter lag time, the better. The table lists dozens of digital cameras, and gives the numbers for one photo and five photos.
