Canon announced its sixth straight year of profit and sales in 2005, due to strong digital camera and printer sales. The company predicts an even better 2006. The net profit of 384.1 billion yen (around $3.3 million) was an 11.9% increase over the previous year. The company sold 19.2 million digital cameras, growing 14% over 2004.
