Olympus has updated the firmware for the E-500 digital SLR camera to version 1.1. Improvements for this release include a new timing interval for the button timer, enhanced one-touch white balance functions, and a warning message confirmation when deleting RAW and JPG files.
To update your E-500, open the Olympus Master software that came with the camera, connect the unit via USB, and log onto the Internet. Choose the Update Camera function from the Online Service menu.
