Nikon updates Nikon Capture to v4.4.0

nikon.gifNikon has added D200 RAW image suppport and camera control to Nikon Capture, advancing the current version to 4.4.0. Also, some functions performed from the Advanced RAW palette in Tool Palette 2 have been changed.

Windows and Mac users can download the new software.

Support for the D200 has been added.

Some of the functions performed from the Advanced RAW palette in Tool Palette 2 have been changed.
A B&W (black and white) option has been added to the Color Mode item.

The method used to reproduce tones in highlight portions exhibiting a loss of detail when Exp Comp is set to a negative value has been improved. (Does not apply to RAW images captured with the D1 or Coolpix-series cameras)

When images edited by setting Exp Comp to a negative value with Nikon Capture ver. 4.3.2 and earlier are opened in Nikon Capture Ver 4.4.0 or later, the results of compensation in highlights exhibiting a loss of detail may differ.

Support for the D200 has been added.
