Seculine has released the Zigview R, a TTL motion sensor shutter release with an interval and exposure timer. The device snaps on to the back of your digital camera and fires the shutter when movement is detected. The product monitors 9 areas of the viewfinder images, and the sensitivity is variable in each area. The timing feature allows the user to set the Zigview R to fire the shutter over a period of up to 999 days with exposure intervals between 1/2 second and 99 days. This can be combined with the unit's timed "BULB" feature to enable photographers to control repeatedly long exposures.
The Zigview R requires the host digital camera to have an electronic shutter release socket, and comes with a 2.5mm shutter release connector and eyepiece adapters for common Nikon and Canon cameras. Other eyepiece and camera connectors are available as accessories.
UK distributor Intro2020 has more on the Zigview R.
