nikon.gifNikon has released firmware updates for the D2Hs and D2X digital SLR cameras. Both cameras have been updated to version 1.01. Both updates seem to address the same issues.

The firmware upgrade speeds up autofocus performance, addresses an issue that was preventing the AF-assist from firing when used with some Speedlights, and addresses an issue that affected images captured at a 1/250 s shutter speed with a Speedlight SB-800, set to Distance-priority manual flash (GN), or Manual flash (M) with flash output set to full (M1/1) mounted on the camera. Also, Dutch menu errors have been corrected.
