Through a partnership with LifePics, the new site allows customers to upload digital photos and pick up prints at 171 stores throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. The Meijer site currently offers same day and next day prints, greeting cards, calendars and over 50 different photo related gifts. The company promises that one hour prints will be available "in the very near future."

Meijer New Updated On Line Photo Web Site Offers 10 Cent Print Introduction
Meijer launched their new updated photo web site this week with 10 cent next day 4X6 digital prints. This introductory price is good through November 19. Meijer has partnered with LifePics as their Internet provider for their photo web site. The online solution allows customers to upload digital photos and pick up prints at 171 stores throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. The Meijer site currently offers same day and next day prints, greeting cards, calendars and over 50 different photo related gifts. One Hour prints will be available in the very near future. The system has total kiosk and online integration to allow customers to purchase on line what they can order in the stores today.
"When we decided to upgrade our technology for allowing customers to print their photos via the Web, we looked at all the vendors in the industry and went with LifePics," said Rob Shadowens, Senior Photo Buyer at Meijer. "We needed a next-generation solution that lets customers choose between 1-hour service, same day service, and economy next-day service, while allowing us behind the scenes to route the job to the most economical and convenient printer for the job.
