The December 2005 issue of Consumer Reports shows that walk-in chain stores may not be the best places to buy electronics. The best prices and selections can be found at online retailers, including Amazon, BJ's Wholesale, J&R.com, and Costco.com. The magazine liked Costco's return policy the best, and gave Tweeter Home Entertainment and Ritz Camera high marks for top service.
