Postcard_sm.jpgKodak has launched a service that allows users to mail personalized photo postcards to friends and family from their mobile phone. You take the picture, select a border design, enter a personalized message and US mail address, and Kodak will print and mail the postcard to your family member or friend. Postcards can be ordered from a MOTOROLA V710, V260, V265, V276, the KYOCERA KX2, and the AUDIOVOX CDM-8940 on the VERIZON Wireless network.

The Kodak Mobile Postcard Application can be downloaded in pre-paid single-use increments for $1.99 or in bundles of three postcards for $4.99, and five postcards for $7.99. All first-class US postage is included. The user will see the charge on their cell phone bill.

KODAK Mobile Service Makes Sending Postcards Stamp and Stress Free; KODAK Mobile Service pairs up with handset and carrier leaders to provide mobile phone users with a fast and easy way to send personalized photo postcards direct from camera phones

When vacation days are numbered, it's critical to make the most of time away from the office. With the best of intentions, enthusiastic travelers purchase stacks of postcards featuring local sites yet they forget to mail them or run out of stamps. Whether soaking up the rays or taking a break from the slopes, consumers can now send personalized photo postcards right from their camera phones and have the 4x6" card mailed directly to friends and family members back home--no stamps (or stress) required. KODAK Mobile Service has a variety of exclusive borders to choose from, including movie and sports borders and a border to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

With the new KODAK Mobile Service Postcard Application, consumers simply snap a picture, select a border design, enter a personalized message and an address and Kodak will mail the postcard to any U.S. address. Within a few days, friends and family will be delighted to find personalized postcards waiting for them in their mailbox, not their inbox. Postcards can be sent anytime, anywhere from a variety of phones including MOTOROLA V710, V260, V265, V276; KYOCERA: KX2 and the AUDIOVOX CDM-8940 on the VERIZON Wireless network.

"At Kodak, we recognize that consumers want easy ways to stay connected to friends and family to share their stories," said Dave Geary, senior vice president, KODAK Mobile Service. "Our consumers are looking for convenient wireless solutions to everyday hassles - their time is precious. KODAK Mobile's Postcard Application is one example of how Kodak continues to create innovative easy-to-use solutions for today's on-the-go consumer."

The KODAK Mobile Postcard Application can be downloaded in pre-paid single-use increments for $1.99 or in bundles of three postcards for $4.99, and five postcards for $7.99. All first-class U.S. postage is included. The charge will be billed directly to the customer's phone bill.
