Canon to use digital camera fuel cells in 2008

canon.gifCanon has announced it has developed fuel cells that could begin powering digital cameras (and other devices) in three years. Fuel cells mix hydrogen and oxygen to generate electricity, and Canon is working on a system that uses refilable cartridges to supply the hydrogen. The fuel cells should supply much longer battery life than the current litium-ion batteries.
