Nikon has released service advisories for its D2H and D70 digital SLR cameras. The company is offering free services to correct the issues within five days of receipt of the camera. If you've already had the repairs the company is offering, and it was out-of-warranty work, you should contact the company.
The D2H advisory states that the electronic analog exposure display can freeze, rendering the camera unable to change exposure settings. In other cases, the autofocus system may freeze.
The D70 advisory discusses the camera locking up when a flash card is inserted or refusing to power on when no memory card is present.
