Fujifilm has announced the FinePix E900 Zoom, a compact 9 megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom. Mark Peters from Let's Go Digital tells us that this is the world's first compact 9 megapixel digital camera.
The camera boasts a 1.3 second start-up time, and nearly instant shutter response, a histogram with a Highlight Warning feature, and a 2 inch LCD screen on the back. The camera has an ISO sensitivity range of 80-800 for various lighting conditions. The E900 can also record 30 frame-per-second VGA movies.
