PMA and iHollywood Forum Announce Focus! Digital and Wireless Imaging Summit to Be Held in Conjunction with September Conference
Summit Addresses the Impact and Business Opportunities for Digital Photography Companies, Wireless Imaging Innovators, Technology Companies and Service Providers
Photo Marketing Association International (PMA) and iHollywood Forum, Inc. will jointly produce Focus! Digital and Wireless Imaging Summit on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, San Diego, Calif. The all-day summit will be held concurrently with the PMA Fall 2005 Imaging Conference & Mini Trade Show (Sept. 8-11, 2005). The announcement was made jointly by Ted Fox, PMA executive director, and iHollywood Forum president and co-founder Zahava Stroud.
Focus! will explore consumers' rapid adoption of digital photography in its many forms, including home printing, retail printing, online printing and services and wireless imaging.
Other sessions will address future technologies, and how these technologies will transform photography. The summit will also highlight trends from around the world.
"In the past few years, digital photography has reinvigorated consumer excitement in capturing and sharing their memories with images," says Fox. "Focus! will give industry professionals insight into the emerging trends in this dynamic market, beyond the traditional snapshot, into multimedia, mobile imaging and personal digital content."
