Online photo service Shutterfly has purchased Memory Matrix, an engineering company that focuses on digital photography. Shutterfly CEO Jeffrey Housenbold said the acquisition "affords Shutterfly the ability to more aggressively innovate our products and services."
The online photo services market has several players right now, including Webshots, Snapfish, Kodak, and others.
