PC Magazine has reviewed the ultra-slim Casio Exilim EX-S500, awarding the 5 megapixel camera a 4 out of 5 rating. Despite the high rating and performance, the editors decided to keep the "Editor's Choice" title with the Canon PowerShot SD300 Digital Elph.
The editors found the Casio to have excellent color and picture quality, but missed an optical viewfinder and manual controls. Since the Canon had both, as well as a lighter price tag, they kept the EC title with the Canon.
