Olympus Stylus 800Olympus America has announced the Olympus Stylus 800, an 8 MP digital camera with a 3x optical zoom. The camera has a 2.5-inch LCD display (no optical viewfinder) with an all-weather metal body. A proprietary Lithium Ion battery promises "hundreds" of shots between charges. A new Help "GUIDE" function serves as a quick reference for each of the camera's features. The PictBridge-compatible camera also has a USB 2.0 interface that requires no connection software. The included Olympus Master software allows users to download and organize pictures, and also allows for some image editing and technical support functions.

The Olympus Stylus 800 will be available in July for $449.99.
