According to a recent Reuters report, Eastman Kodak is preparing to introduce a series of consumer inkjet printers next year to challenge current makers Lexmark and Hewlett-Packard. Kodak executives have let a few details slip out since the company's direction officially changed in September 2003. Reuters is citing Cross Research analyst Shannon Cross, who gave some details away after a briefing with Kodak. The printers are expected to be announced in mid-2006.
