Toronto-based Arkiv Inc. has launched Ar*kiv Offsite, a secure, environmentally controlled storage facility for CD's, DVD's, and entire hard drives. Customers will burn images to the aforementioned media and ship them in provided mailers to Arkiv for processing. Once the contents are verified, the images are uploaded to password-protected galleries for future reference.
Fees for the service begin at $9.95 a month for unlimited storage, plus one-time charges of $9.95 per CD/DVD or $59.95 per hard drive. For more information, visit the Arkiv Inc website.
