Wacom releases wireless pen tablet

Wacom Technology has announced Graphire Bluetooth, the newest member of its Graphire pen tablet. This product is the first Wacom pen tablet to incorporate Bluetooth wireless technology. Additionally, the pen is battery-free and cordless. The tablet features a rechargable lithium polymer batter that can go up to 25 hours between charges. An included 12-foot power adapter allows use of the tablet while it is charging. The set boasts 512 levels of pressure sensitivity and has a built-in eraser.

Wacom includes three software packages with the Graphire Bluetooth, including: Adobe Photoshop Elements 2, Painter Essentials 2 by Corel, and Color Efex Pro 2 GE by nik multimedia, Inc.

The 6" x 8" (active area) tablet is available immediately and is priced at $249.99
