Panasonic introduces Oxyride batteries

Panasonic will begin selling Oxyride batteries in June, calling the new product the "most significant developments in primary battery technology in 40 years." Panasonic claims the new batteries will last twice as long as premium alkaline batteries like Duracell Ultra and cost the same as regular alkalines.
