J&R Music World and Octave Systems have teamed up to produce the MULTIPOD, a 5 in 1 USB device that incorporates a digital camera, web camera, video camera, audio recorder and 128MB portable storage device into a unit smaller than a dollar bill. The package weighs three-quarters of an ounce.
The device can capture up to 12 minutes in video clips with sound, or up to 3,000 320x240 still photos. There is also a setting that allows the camera to take up to 750 620x480 pictures. The web camera function is compatible with AIM, MSN, and Yahoo instant messaging services.
The MULTIPOD sells for $149.88.
