Canon announces EOS 1D, 20D rebates

canon.gifCanon is offering rebates from $10 up to $500 on select Canon products, including the prosumer EOS-1D Mark II, EOS 20D and a number of EF lenses. Buying the EOS-1D Mark II Kit will get you a $500 rebate, while EOS 20D Kit purchasers will receive $100. The EOS20D EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Kit and 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Kit both carry $100 rebates. Canon EF lens rebates range from $15 up to $50, depending on the model purchased.

To claim the rebate, you need to purchase one of the select products between now and July 15, 2005. You must complete and send in the required documentation by August 8th, 2005 and they must receive it by August 15th. They'll need a copy of your sales receipt with the price paid, dealer name, product model and date clearly legible; a copy of the customer portion of the warranty card from Canon USA, the original UPC code from the box, and the body/lens number.
