Ampex Corporation has announced that it has concluded a license agreement with Olympus. Although the terms of the deal are confidential, we do know that the agreement permits Olympus use of patents held by Ampex in the manufacturing of digital still cameras. Ampex is also working with several other manufacturers to tie up licensing agreements for camera-equipped cellular phones.
