Sandisk has announced a 2 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo flash storage card and a new Memory Stick Pro Duo family in the SanDisk Ultra II line. The latest memory stick offerings are scheduled to ship sometime this spring.
The new SanDisk Ultra II Memory Stick Pro Duo family is being offered in three capacities: 512 MB, 1 GB, and 2 GB. These cards have a minimum read and write speed of 10 MB per second. This line of cards is made for digital cameras with a resolution of 5 MP or higher. Prices for the cards are $119.99, $209.99, and $479.99.
