Pentax has introduce an ultra-compact 5 MP digital camera with Pentax's Sliding Lens System. The OptioS5n has a 2-inch LCD monitor, 3x zoom, and measures 83mm wide, 52mm high, and 20.5mm deep. The camera uses a translucent "Mode Palette" that displays 16 shooting icons and 11 playback icons superimposed over the preview images. The camera also shoots 30fps VGA video. The unit ships with a camera stand that charges batteries still in the camera as well as a spare set.
