Eastman Kodak and Lexar Media have announced the expansion of the KODAK flash memory card line to include formats for mobile camera phones and PDAs. The miniSD cards, Reduced Size MMC cards, and MMCmobile cards can be used with the included adpaters to plug into KODAK retail kiosks. The miniSD cards will work in Kodak EASYSHARE cameras when used with the adapter.

The miniSD and Reduced Size MMC cards will be available in March, while the MMCmobile cards will be available in the summer. Initial shipments will head toward Europe, with other regions to follow. The capacities will range from 128 MB to 512 MB.
