Citing recent surveys that only 13% of digital images wind up on paper, retail chain Cartridge World is launching a campaign to promote the printing of digital photos. Printer users can take their empty cartridges to any of Cartridge World's 750 worldwide locations and have their it refilled for about half the cost of purchasing a new brand-name printer cartridge. The process usually takes about ten minutes.
"We want people to have the ability to print as many photos as they want without being worried about cost," said Burt Yarkin, CEO of Cartridge World North America. "With an affordable service like Cartridge World, customers can print their digital photos at home for the same price as having a roll of film developed at the store."
