Canon has announced the SELPHY CP600 compact photo printer. The unit can deliver postcard-sized prints in as little as 63 seconds. The two pound printer can operate either plugged into an AC outlet or from the included rechargable battery. The printer also incorporates all of the advanced PictBridge setup features including print cropping, print quantity selection, date imprinting, paper size selection, choice of bordered or borderless printing and most notably, Layout print (fixed size or N-up) and File Name Print. The printer will be available in April for an estimated street price of $249.99.
