Canon has announced the 4 MP PowerShot A520 digital camera. The camera has a 4x optical zoom and accepts SD and MMC media. Canon claims the camera can take 300 shots (with the LCD screen on) on just two AA batteries. Like the PowerShot A510, which was announced last month, the camera is 13% smaller and 10% lighter than previous models.
The digital camera features 13 shooting modes, and a nine-point AiAF "Smart" autofocus system. The unit also has a "Print/Share" PictBridge button for one-touch image transfer to computers and printers.
The PowerShot A520 will be available in March for $299.99.
