Roku's PhotoBridge HD1000 digital media player product line takes a leap forward today with a new software update and a reduced price. The Roku PhotoBridge HD Gallery Collection, which includes six Roku Art Packs, has a new lower retail price of $399. As the only high-definition digital media player on the market made for the sharp resolution of HDTV and capable of working with analog TV, Roku PhotoBridge HD boasts more functionality than any other digital media player. Roku PhotoBridge HD brilliantly displays photos, music, art and video on any TV, including HDTV, and has many new features available through a free software update.

Consumers who own PhotoBridge HD can easily receive the new 2.0 software which features many enhancements. PhotoBridge HD now works with UPnP AV, allowing it to easily talk and connect to PC computers to share photos, music, and video files. DVDs saved to a computer can now be played back without the use of third-party software. The addition of support for AAC music files enhances PhotoBridge's support for iTunes.
