sm-rollei-DR5.jpgThe Rollei dr5 is a 25mm (almost flat) 5 MP digital camera. This product will have a 4.8x optical zoom and 3.6x digital zoom. Users can either use the built-in optical zoom or the 1.8" LCD monitor. The macro mode allows photographers to take pictures as close as 1cm to 13cm away. Another strong feature of the camera is the .8 second lag from power-on to shooting. The shutter lag is no more than .10 second. The camera also allows continuous shooting, and has a timer you can set for either 2 or 10 seconds. The unit has 256-zone metering plus center-weighted average and spot metering. There is an automatic white balance, plus settings for sunlight, cloudy, tungsten and fluorescent. The camera also has automatic red-eye reduction and fill-flash modes. There is also a QuickTime video setting (with sound). The camera will operate on two AA batteries or a lithium-ion block. This unit will be available in March for 299 Euro.
