The Innovations 2005 Design and Engineering Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America and are awarded by a panel of independent industry designers, engineers, and journalists. The awards honor superior design and engineering in the year's most technologically advanced products.
