William Lloyd will replace the retiring James Stoffel as CTO of Eastman Kodak at the end of February. Lloyd has been with the company since June 2003 as director of inkjet systems. Before that, he worked at such companies as HP, Gemplus International, and Phogenix Imaging. His experience also includes working on spacecraft used in NASA's Apollo program.
"Bill Lloyd has a long and successful track record of developing digital products and managing large organizations," Kodak Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Carp stated. "We expect Bill to build on that legacy as the head of Kodak's technology efforts."
