Kodak, Fujifilm, and Konica Minolta have teamed up to create "P.A.S.S.," ("Picture Archiving and Sharing Standard") a set of open standards for digital image storing and sharing. They hope to have version 1.0 of the standards available in about a year and make it available to all manufacturers to make sure future digital photo products and services play nice together.
