Hardwarezone reports that Olympus has released the u[mju] DIGITAL 500 camera in Singapore, a camera virtually identical to the upcoming Stylus 500 Digital, available in the U.S. in January 2005.
The 5 MP camera boasts a high-def 2.5" LCD screen and a 3x optical zoom. The camera will feature 20 scene settings, such as "Night," "Candle," and "Behind Glass." A 32 MB xD-Picture Card will be included. The camera will come in three different colors.
