Nikon has upgraded the firmware for the Coolpix 8800 to version 1.4. This update addresses an issue causing pictures continuously taken in RAW format to have a magenta tint when viewed in PictureProject or nikon Capture. Also, a problem that caused recording issues for pictures taken continuously with the EXTRA setting. You can get the download here, and be sure to copy the entire "firmware" folder to the camera's memory card.
