The Leica Camera Group today issued a statement that the months of October and November 2004 did not see the targeted sales increases as compared to previous months due to "a difficult market environment." The company also does not expect a short-term improvement in the following months. Leica does point out that this does not impact the ongoing distribution improvements and product development.
You can expect to see 3rd quarter financial results from Leica in early 2005.
